You think your Time Worth Fiverr.com?

Hi Freelancer Folks,
I’ve been told that a freelancer should join Fiverr.com website & work for thousands of jobs available there & one day I sign up for fiverr. I tried to make a profile & found that on average in categories like Graphic Design, Writing & Translation, and Web CMS Development etc. people are offering services in just $5. Oh My God, I mean seriously you think your time worth it? It takes minimum 5-8 hours to understand the brand & design a logo or even write an article of 600 words after some research & you are going to do this for $5? Well it’s time to re-vise your policy & work on high paying plate forms like elance, odesk & PeoplePerHour.com
Fiverr.com is a good place for you to get introduction of online gigs but it’s really not the destination you should focus on. If you have already worked there then I suggest to move on & don’t spend any more time there because at the end of the day you will be frustrated to see only 100 or 200 bucks in your hands after a month hard work & night crawling.
Let me narrate my own story with you, few days back an USA based client approached me for logo & we didn’t made it because he was looking a $5 logo but after 5 days’ time he came back to me & paid my price because the image he got from five for anything but not a logo. Fiverr also need a lot of time & research to get in so you should same amount of time on some plateform that will help you to make a living doing freelancing.
On buyer end, one must thing that what kind of stuff he/she is going to get from amateur freelancers of fiverr.com
Important Note: I am not discouraging newbies to try fiverr but writing realistic review of the website so you know the exact picture.
